Part-time Housing Officer
West Lothian based Onsite role
Up to 16.00 per hour + holiday pay (depending on experience)
Mornings Only 9:00am - 12:30pm 17.5 hours per week
3 Month Temp Contract potential for extension

Search Consultancy are currently working with a well-known national Housing Association to recruit a Housing Officer on a part-time basis, which will be based on-site at their site in West Lothian. This role will be initially a 3 month temp position to cover planned absence, and there is potential for the role to be extended beyond this.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of customer service to tenants, customers and colleagues as well as maintaining the day-to-day running of the site from an Administration perspective.

Duties involved in this role will include:
Deliver housing management services to tenants, delivering a high level of customer service whilst maintaining compliance to Health and Safety
Escalating complex housing issues to management
Assisting the Housing Officer with rent queries
Conduct new tenancy sign-ups and related administration
Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard by staff at all times
Show prospective tenants around properties when required
Maintain awareness of housing requirements within the site, keeping the Housing Officer up to date with any potential tenancy changes
Undertake customer care visits for all new tenants, arranging for any concerns or issues to be escalated
Ensure fire alarms, legionnaire testing and fire drills are carried out within required timescales to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
Maintain HR and all other IT systems to ensure accurate information in stored
Management of petty cash, payments made and any banking
Various other ad hoc administration duties as directed

In order to be considered for this role, your skills & experience should include:
Previous experience of both Administration & Customer Service, preferably from within a Housing or Property setting
Solid IT skills including the use of MS Office
Strong customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Self-motivated and able to work well within a team
